NITO EXPLOR welcomes visitors who wish to capture memories of their wildlife experience. Photography and video must always be carried out safely and without disturbing animals, staff or other visitors.
1. Personal Photography
Visitors may generally take photographs and personal videos during their visit, provided that they comply with NITO EXPLOR safety rules and staff instructions.
2. Animal Safety
Photography and video must never interfere with the welfare or natural behaviour of animals.
Visitors must not approach, touch, feed, tease or provoke animals in order to obtain a photograph or video.
3. Staff Instructions
NITO EXPLOR staff may instruct visitors to stop recording, change position or put away a camera or other recording device where necessary for safety, animal welfare, privacy or operational reasons.
Visitors must comply with such instructions.
4. Flash Photography
Visitors should not use flash photography where it could disturb animals or interfere with an experience.
Staff may prohibit flash photography in particular areas or during particular experiences.
5. Drones and Special Equipment
Drones and other equipment that could create a safety, privacy, noise or animal-welfare concern may not be used without prior permission from NITO EXPLOR.
Visitors are responsible for complying with any applicable legal requirements relating to such equipment.
6. Other Visitors
Visitors should respect the privacy of other guests, staff and members of the public.
Photography or video should not unreasonably interfere with another person's visit or deliberately invade their privacy.
7. Commercial Photography
Photography or video intended for commercial use, advertising, professional production, promotional campaigns or other commercial purposes may require prior permission from NITO EXPLOR.
Businesses, media organisations, content creators and production teams should contact NITO EXPLOR before planning a commercial shoot.
8. Safe Photography
Visitors must not place themselves or others in danger to obtain photographs or video.
Visitors must remain within designated areas and must never enter restricted areas for the purpose of getting a better photograph or video.
