NITO EXPLOR operates in an environment involving wildlife and animal-related experiences. Visitors must follow all safety instructions and respect the welfare of animals at all times.
1. Follow Staff Instructions
Visitors must follow all reasonable safety instructions given by NITO EXPLOR staff, guides or other authorised personnel.
Instructions may be given before or during an experience and may change depending on the circumstances at the time.
2. Respect Animal Boundaries
Visitors must remain within designated visitor areas and must not enter restricted animal areas unless specifically authorised by NITO EXPLOR staff.
Visitors must not attempt to touch, feed, chase, provoke or otherwise interfere with animals unless an activity is specifically authorised and supervised by NITO EXPLOR.
3. Do Not Provoke Animals
Visitors must not shout at, tease, threaten, disturb or deliberately provoke animals for photographs, videos or entertainment.
Visitors must respect the natural behaviour and welfare of the animals at all times.
4. Designated Areas
Visitors must remain in designated viewing, walking, vehicle or activity areas as directed by NITO EXPLOR.
Restricted areas must not be entered without express permission from authorised staff.
5. Children and Minors
Children and minors must remain under the direct supervision of a responsible parent, guardian or accompanying adult.
Parents and guardians should review the Children & Minors Policy before visiting.
6. Prohibited Conduct
Visitors must not engage in conduct that could create a safety risk to themselves, other visitors, staff or animals.
This includes ignoring safety instructions, entering restricted areas, interfering with animals or deliberately creating unsafe situations for photographs or videos.
7. Personal Responsibility
Visitors are expected to take reasonable care of their own safety and the safety of people accompanying them.
Visitors should inform NITO EXPLOR staff of any relevant concern that may affect their ability to participate safely in an experience.
8. Changes to Experiences
NITO EXPLOR may modify, delay or suspend an activity where necessary for visitor safety, staff safety, animal welfare, weather or operational reasons.
Where practical, NITO EXPLOR will communicate significant changes to affected customers.
9. Removal from an Experience
NITO EXPLOR may require a visitor to leave an activity or restricted area where the visitor fails to follow safety instructions or creates a risk to people, animals or property.
